The creator and the president of "Pendim" is Mr. Pencho Penchev. He has graduated the Academy Of Music - Sofia in the percussion instruments class of professor-doctor Dobri Paliev.

During the last years he teaches percussion instruments in the Middle Musical School "Dobrin Petkov" - Plovdiv.

His first tries in the making of mallets date from his student's ages. Gradually perfects his self, registers a firm. Now he offers xylophones and hand-made kinds of mallets for marimba, vibraphone, timpani, xylophone, and glockenspiel.

Mr. Pencho Penchev organizes and sponsors The International Competition for Percussion Instruments PENDIM.

"Pendim" takes a participation whit the exposition in Internation Seminar of European Clones of Percussion Arts Society (PAS), Sofia 2001.
