P. Sadlo High Performance
The P. Sadlo High Performance series came from two years of research and the careful choice of every detail, guided by the experience and standards of the late Peter Sadlo, the percussion soloist, principal timpanist of the Munich Philharmonic and professor in Munich and Salzburg. Its 15 models in four series (N, V, R and the two-tone S) come with birch or rattan handles and are, like every Pendim mallet, made entirely by hand.
"I discovered several fundamental advantages in the Pendim mallets combined in a way I have never before encountered. They have a full-toned sound without being heavy, offer a wide variety of models, allow easy playing of the tremolo and the same sound in all ranges of the marimba, as well as mallets for special effects. The handles are made of specially selected birch, which combines the advantages of rattan (elasticity and a gentle attack on the bar) and wood (perfect control over the mallet)."
