Product Description
Pendim marimba and vibraphone mallets are sold as a set of 4. If you need only two, choose Pair.
The Pendim Vibraphone Mallets M6 (Model 6) are one of the many vibraphone mallets Pendim makes. The wide choice of Pendim cores, handles and yarns makes many combinations possible.
Model 6 is a light vibraphone head, mostly used with thin handles for faster movement, less hand pressure and better articulation. It sounds great in the middle and high registers of the vibraphone, but is weak in the low register.
Sizes
- Handles: birch or rattan, 40 to 44 cm long, 8, 8.5, 9, 9.5 or 10 mm thick
- Yarn: wool, cotton and synthetics
The yarn colour follows the hardness: Medium Soft green, Medium blue, Medium Hard red, Hard yellow or electric green.
Good to know
- Rattan handles are at most 42 cm long: with rattan, a longer length gives you 42 cm.
- Pendim chooses the yarn colour. To choose your own, order custom-made mallets.
