With custom-made xylophone mallets you choose every part yourself: the head, its hardness, and the handle with its length and thickness. The combinations give you mallets that fit your music.
Heads
Model 3 was first designed as a large xylophone head. Wrapped in yarn, it takes a fine bullet-like shape. It also suits dual tone well, and its round form keeps the porous material from changing the shape of the head too much. Models 3, 5 and 7 are all xylophone heads; they differ only in size.
The head colour follows the hardness: Medium Soft green, Medium blue, Medium Hard red, Hard pink, Very Hard yellow.
