Product Description
The Pendim Advanced Sound A2 (Absolute 2) begin a new series of marimba mallets, made for players beyond the average level of sound production. The set combines four medium A2 heads, each wrapped differently so that every mallet has a role of its own. Mallet 1 is a bass mallet with a dual tone, for better low frequencies; mallets 2, 3 and 4 get gradually stronger, for the middle and high registers of the marimba.
Advanced Sound A2 can be described as solid, medium-weight mallets with warm nuances.
Absolute 2 sits exactly between Model 4 and Model 2: not as heavy as Model 4, not as light as Model 2. Many modern players prefer it.
Sizes
- Handles: birch or rattan, 40 to 44 cm long, 8, 8.5, 9, 9.5 or 10 mm thick
