The Pendim Marimba Mallets M4 (Model 4) are one of the many marimba mallets Pendim makes. The wide choice of Pendim cores, handles and yarns makes many combinations possible.
Model 4 is the largest and heaviest marimba head Pendim makes, mostly chosen with thicker handles. Many players use it for heavy, slow pieces, and some play everything with heavy mallets. If you have strong hands and like heavy mallets, this is your head.
Sizes
- Handles: birch or rattan, 40 to 44 cm long, 8, 8.5, 9, 9.5 or 10 mm thick
- Yarn: wool, cotton and synthetics
Good to know
- Rattan handles are at most 42 cm long: with rattan, a longer length gives you 42 cm.
- Pendim chooses the yarn colour. To choose your own, order custom-made mallets.
